When my first son was born I wanted to breastfeed him, but I found it painful and difficult. I was exhausted, I struggled with breastfeeding and almost gave up until a lactation nurse assisted me with techniques that made breastfeeding easier and more successful. Her guidance changed breastfeeding for us from being a burden to a pleasure. My personal experience, as well as my clinical expertise as a nurse and a lactation specialist, is the foundation of my practice.”
Annamarie has lived almost her entire life in San Francisco with her husband and 3 sons. In her free time, she enjoys traveling everywhere, hiking, yoga, cooking, and sharing meals with family and friends.
