Medication & Refill Policy
Refills on existing prescriptions should be done during weekday working hours. If you need a refill on an existing medication, contact your pharmacy to have them send us a refill request so that we can handle the request in a timely manner.
If calling for a new prescription or need to change the pharmacy for an existing prescription, please either send the office a portal message or call the office and have the pharmacy address and phone number available.
Some medications are considered “controlled substances” (ex. Ritalin, Concerta, etc.) and require a more secure type of prescription. For controlled substances, please give your doctor 72 hours notice of when you need the prescription by. If you do need this type of prescription refilled before the 72 hours, there will be a $25 “rush” fee to have the prescription refill completed that day.
